I’m Donnie McCarron, and I began breeding Goldendoodles in 2004, later expanding to Bernedoodles then Golden Retrievers in 2016. My journey started with a desire to find the perfect family-friendly breed, which led me to discover the Goldendoodle. The more I learned about them, the more fascinated I became.
My commitment has always been to breed high-quality, loving family pets. As a father of five, I deeply understand the positive impact a pet can have on a child’s life.
At Green Acres, our dogs enjoy 100 acres of lush, open pastures nestled between two rivers, providing them with a beautiful, natural environment to thrive.

Green Acres is very exact about the breeds we provide to our customers.

Our Goldendoodles
The F1 is produced by crossing a golden retriever with a Standard Poodle.
The F1B Goldendoodle is produced by crossing an F1 Goldendoodle with a Standard Poodle. These dogs will have a higher success rate for non-shedding, and are recommended for families with moderate to severe allergies. The F1B has a tighter curl and are more like a Poodle. Our puppies will mature between 50-75 lbs. (Depending on selected sires and dams).
F1 Abstract Goldendoodles
F1 and F1B Standard Size Abstract and Parti Goldendoodle
A F1 Abstract Goldendoodle is a cross between a Golden Retriever Mom and a Standard Size Parti Poodle Dad. A F1 may have a low to no shedding wavy coat.
The F1B Abstract Goldendoodle is produced by crossing an F1 Goldendoodle Mom with a Standard Size Parti Poodle Dad. These dogs will have a higher success rate for non-shedding and are recommended for families with moderate to severe allergies. The F1B has a tighter curl and are more like a Poodle.
The F1B Parti Goldendoodle is produces by crossing a F1 Abstract Goldendoodle to a Parti Poodle. Parti Goldendoodle means the Goldendoodle has 50% of his body must be white and the remaining colour can be either black, red, Chocolate or any colour.
The only other trait difference of an Abstract Goldendoodle or Parti Goldendoodle is the unique colour markings. These puppies will grow between 55-75lbs.

FI Bernedoodles
Bernedoodles are loyal, affectionate, and intelligent dogs that are a mix between a Bernese Mountain dog and a standard poodle, also called an F1 Bernedoodle. These dogs have a social and loving personality that fit into versatile family environments, and they are great with kids and other pets. Due to their high intelligence, the Bernedoodle is easy to train and transition into life with their new families easily.
Bernedoodles typically grow to be anywhere from 80 to 100 pounds. Despite their large size, you can expect minimal shedding as they may take the hypoallergenic quality of the poodle. Their coat varies from wavy to curly and they are black and white in colour, they require regular brushing, and we recommend having them professionally groomed every 8 to 12 weeks.
This loyal companion has the ability to adapt to your lifestyle, may that be highly active or more relaxed, they will meet you where you are at. They do require regular exercise, but we will leave it up to you and your new pup to determine what kind of exercise you enjoy together!
